Happy Halloween

This rabbit shedding season produced some interesting looks for our Mini-Lop Bincy bunny.  One day she looked like a cardboard puzzle, and another day she looked like she was ready for Halloween.  Look at her picture and check out those "devil horns".  Too bad we couldn't figure out how to make the shedding look like a halo because that would better fit her personality.

Keeping in the spirit of Halloween, here is a horror story from England about a
monster rabbit that is attacking gardens.  Most people are not aware of the giant breeds of rabbits that exist, some getting as large three feet long and 35 pounds.  You can read about this Halloween-like story on the National Geographic website by clicking Monster Rabbit.

Winnie the Pooh's "Rabbit"

This month's featured article is about "Rabbit", that wonderful character in the Winnie the Pooh books.  Read about how smart Rabbit is compared to the other personalities in A. A. Milne's classic children stories (its because he has a brain).  Find out how Rabbit and Pooh first met and why Rabbit likes to be around Pooh except at lunchtime.  Also, be amazed at the hefty paycheck Rabbit is helping to bring in for the Disney company by going to "Rabbit".

Holiday Season Is On The Way

This is a busy time for the Mid-South Bunny Museum.  We have to put away our bunny items for one season to make way for the bunnies of the next season in back to back months.  It really adds to our enjoyment of this special time of year.

We hope you have found the fun in being childlike when it comes to the holiday seasons.  Of course, if you have a house rabbit for a companion you already know what we are talking about.  They are so much fun (as our Bincy bunny races up the hallway at about 20 miles per hour).
