Ask Questions

The best place to ask questions about your rabbit is on the Etherbun List, a YahooGroups.com group with over 5,000 subscribers.  Not only can you ask the EtherBun List your rabbit questions and get speedy replies, but you can also increase your personal knowledge of rabbits by reading the comments posted.  We at RabbitWorldView are highly indebted to the veterinarians, microbiologists, and nutritionist, as well as the dedicated rabbit rescuers that participate daily at the Etherbun List.

To sign up as a subscriber is easy, but we recommend you first get a separate Yahoo email account to handle the daily 30-40 messages that are posted.  Yahoo now has unlimited storage space so there is no need to worry about any of your incoming emails bouncing.  Sign up for your special Yahoo account for the EtherBun List here: www.mail.yahoo.com

Once you have your special email account opened, all you need to do is send a blank email to etherbun-subscribe@YahooGroups.com.  You will be sent a welcoming email with guidelines on how to post to the EtherBun List.

Do not be intimidated by the obvious expertise of so many of those who are posting.  They are there to help and encourage the proper care of companion rabbits.  You will be impressed with the seriousness of concern that they display.  The EtherBun List is not a place for just goofing around.

There is an Advisory Committee that oversees the EtherBun List to make sure
posts are on-topic.  Anything dealing with the health and welfare of your house rabbit or outdoor rabbit is on-topic.  Anything dealing with how to breed, show, or use rabbits as food or other products is off-topic.  So is the topic of domesticating wildlife rabbits.  Abusers of the EtherBun List will be contacted and warned.

The EtherBun List owners are Mary Cotter (mec@cloud9.net) and Dana Krempels  (dana@miami.edu).  They have done a wonderful service to the furtherance of the House Rabbit Movement and are to be applauded.  The EtherBun List is a stand-alone group of bunny rabbit lovers.  Take advantage of them -  it is all for free because it is for the bunnies.

If you are looking for a smaller group where you can share your humorous stories about your house rabbit, but also get answers to your questions you might try the Bunnies-R-Us list.  You can subscribe by emailing the moderator at
